THE SHUCKER SHACK
PERFECT FOR COUPLES
Escape the hustle and bustle and retreat to The Shuck Shack at Anchorage Farm Narooma. This cute and cosy van style accomodation sits on acreage overlooking the beautiful Wagonga Inlet. A short 3.5km drive to the main street in Narooma, far enough away to be peaceful and private, yet close enough to all the attractions Narooma has to offer including the world class Narooma MTB trails. A relaxing retreat, a farm stay, a base to explore with 6kms of walking trails on the property. Our retro fitted 1960’s caravan with annex that has been lovingly restored. Completely self contained it boasts a double bed, kitchenette, lounge area with TV, separate bathroom, outdoor seating and BBQ area and stunning water views.

Guest Access
The Shucker Shack at Anchorage Farm guests have access to the van, surrounding grass area, and bush tracks around the property. There is a fire pit at the front of the farm, near to your accomodation and we would be happy to light it for you at your request. Our converted shipping container that serves as a place you can store/clean and work on your mountain bikes is coming soon.

Cooking Facilities
There is a microwave, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, dishes and cutlery, wine glasses, BBQ utensils and small fridge in the kitchenette and a gas BBQ on the patio. Fresh eggs are available on request or help yourself from the chook shed.​

What's Included
Free parking on the premises, bed linen, heating, private backyard, fire pit with wood supplied, a small bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc.

Little touches
We supply complimentary fresh eggs from our happy hens (when laying) and golden honey from our own beehives. We also have Breakfast baskets, Cheese baskets and Smores baskets available for purchase. Please allow 24 hours notice.

Please Note
There is a TV in the van, but no wifi available. It is the ideal place to log off and disconnect with the day to day and check in and reconnect with yourself and nature. There is a Laundromat nearby.

Our piece of paradise has a unique offering that is complete serenity yet a wonderfully close proximity to all that Narooma and the surrounds have to offer.

At Anchorage Farm you can escape to the rainforest and immerse yourself in nature on the many trails that traverse our land and feel a million miles away from anyone, yet hop in your car and be in Narooma’s main street in four minutes. Over the years the farm has evolved from being somewhere we enjoy being as a family to being a place others can come, experience, enjoy and make lifelong memories.

The Oyster Farmers Daughter
A few minutes drive from the farm is the Oyster Farmers Daughter Oyster Bar nestled on the shores of Wagonga Inlet. This unique eatery operates out of a boutique food trailer right alongside Coxons Oyster Shed— Enjoy fresh seafood, fish and chips, vegan options and delicious drinks and cocktails.

Wander down to the spring
Take a stroll into our rainforest and discover the soothing sounds of our natural spring. Surrounded by lush greenery, the gentle flow of running water creates a peaceful escape where you can pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature.
Campfire nights
Sit by the campfire and toast marshmallows as you unwind beneath a blanket of stars. The crackle of the fire, the sweetness of your treat, and the brilliance of the night sky create the perfect setting to relax and share stories.
Wildlife encounters
Keep your eyes and ears open—you might spot kangaroos grazing at dusk, colourful parrots darting through the trees, or the gentle rustle of an echidna nearby. Nature is always close here.
Take in the sunset
Take in the breathtaking sunset as it washes Mt Gulaga in shades of gold and crimson. The mountain’s silhouette against the evening sky is a sight of quiet majesty, offering a perfect moment to pause and reflect on the beauty of the South Coast.

This place was truly incredible! It was easy to find, with clear, thoughtful instructions and she even had the fire going for us when we arrived, which made it feel so welcoming. The views were absolutely amazing, especially at sunset and sunrise! The hosts were lovely and responsive, even sharing some great local recommendations. We felt completely at home and were able to wander the property, where we found chickens, a sweet dog, cows, and some wildlife. Such a peaceful and memorable stay! Merri's thoughtful little touches with a personalised welcome board and complementary eggs and honey were really thoughtful!

An unforgettable stay! We had the pleasure of visiting a truly lovely place, hosted by the kindest and most welcoming people. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, natural, and perfect for a relaxing escape. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and will definitely be visiting again (and again!). My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Merri’s place! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle. Everything was well-maintained, and the atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable. If we are back to Narooma, we’ll definitely stay here again!
